The soHza sister Bali Collection
Drought and overgrazing have left parts of Ethiopia nearly uninhabitable. Today, people are fighting to reclaim their land.
The most amazing thing is that women artisans from Bali are helping. These women support their families using local handcrafted techniques, such as the cultural art of macramé, that have been passed down through generations.
For each of these beautiful necklaces purchased, 10 trees are planted. And because of efforts like these, 1.3 million trees now stand in what was formerly wasteland. With gentle, loving hands, these local artisans are weaving together their families as well as a future for their homeland.
